Amazon secures customers with faster delivery service

Amazon, the world’s largest e-commerce company, announced that in the first quarter of this year, about 60% of orders received through Amazon Prime in 60 metropolitan areas in the United States were delivered the same or next day. This is a 10 percentage point increase from 50% at the same time last year, meaning that Amazon’s delivery service is becoming faster. In 2019, Amazon said it was investing billions of dollars to expand its fulfillment network and services, including planes, trucks, drones and robots, to compete with FedEx and UPS. Last year, competition among distributors for quick delivery is becoming more intense, with each seller introducing a program that allows them to ship products directly from the factory.
