Mercedes-Benz announced that it would proceed with a beta program to add Chat GPT to the vehicle’s ‘MBUX’ infotainment system, which is expected to be used to improve the system in the future.
Mercedes-Benz is the first automaker to launch a Chat GPT-based system, and other companies, including General Motors, are said to be considering developing similar features.
It is revealed that it will be provided for 3 months to 900,000 customers who currently have vehicles equipped with ‘MBUX’
The feature will allow drivers to receive answers to more complex and comprehensive questions, such as requesting details about a destination or recommending a new dinner recipe.
In addition, collected voice command data will be anonymized and stored, and we will retain control over it.
